AN ANGEL STOOD BEFORE ME
Suzan K. Manning loves to remember and recount her life experiences. She found, several years ago, expressing them in poetry form was much more satisfying than writing them down in a journal. Finally, the guilt of lost memories, experiences, and lessons learned were manifested in this format.
In Volume 1 of “An Angel Stood Before Me: A Poetry Journal”, Suzan shares her contemporary experiential impressions, as well as the memories that often flood forward from her rich past.

About the Author
Hi there, I'm Suzan, mother of seven children and grandmother of sixteen. I am a native born Arizonan. Most of my life until age 20, was on a dairy farm of Registered Holsteins. I am inspired by the tactile in nature, the harmonies and the views.
I embrace art in all forms…melodious or articulated on a surface. Most of all, I love the art of words.
My rich Russian Molokan heritage imbedded itself in my heart, and my desire is to share my personal experiences following a path exampled by my mother, Bettie. Thus, “An Angel Stood Before Me: A Poetry Journal” was birthed.
Welcome to Volume 1.
